Examples are milk, some breakfast cereals, and some orange juice,margarine,yogurt and other food products.
Recommended daily allowance or RDA varies with age. Quantities are listed in IU’s (international units or micrograms (mcg). 1 mcg is equivalent to 40 IU. 0 -12 months – 400IU or 10mcg. 1 – 70 years – 600IU or 15mcg. Over years - 800IU or 20mcg.
